I willl show you how to modify the Reveal Behavior to create a "typing" (letter-by-letter) effect for text callouts.
I also talk about how to do a typewriter effect in the Techsmith Camtasia 9 video editing software. This is a Camtasia kinetic typography tutorial which basically means you are creating a moving text effect / animated text effect on your videos.
To do a typing text effect, you can actually just put a Camtasia 9 behavior on your text and with a few modifications, make it have a typewriter effect. It will look like someone is typing on the screen when you put this in your video production projects.
